Just how deep will a vaquero detect. I was getting a colvert pipe in the drive way. Bout 12 inchs down on one side,and bout 18 inches on the other.

Oh, it can reach deeper than that on a large object, however more like close to 10 inches depending on the ground conditions for a coin sized target with the stock coil.

I would say that sandman is about right on,,, my vaq. will go down very deep 8-10" or better on coins .(supertuned)

On a plantation hunt this May I got a weak repeatable signal and I dug to 26" till I hit a piece iron. It appears to be about 1"x1" hexagon and at least 16" long. Its still in the ground, I'm going back to recover it later this fall. Hope its a old gun barrel or something neat. Yes the V will go deep. Best coin was 10 1/2"
