Ok TESORO users i am going to get a TESORO to add to my arsenal next week what should i get ...the..Cibola..or the...Golden U Max...?? ==Jim==

AHA you won't look back now! cibola for sure out of the two, but i would get the v if you can.

Out of the two you mentioned I would go with the Cibola for sure. I just sold a Golden - it seems with the Golden you either love them or hate them & I didn't like it at all. Believe it or not I prefer the Silver uMax over the Tesoro's I have had & they were the Cibola/DeLeon/Vaquero/Golden uMax. It is like Tesoro built the Silver uMax especially for my ground and the type of hunting that I do - it just seems to work great. I love the Silver uMax and I have had many different brands and models. Steve.

Of the ones mentioned, you will be happier with the Vaquero. The Cibola is the low end jobbie without a ground balance. That is fine if you are lucky enough to live where it is matched up to your ground while the Vaquero can be adjusted for anywhere.

Personally I am glad I went with the Deleon!! I would have wanted the ID in a little while if I would have gotten either the Cibola or the Vaquero!! I was also going to get one of those!! Joe(usa) talked me into getting the Deleon and after using it for awhile and getting used to it I am so glad I did!!! It is a great detector and so easy to use!! And it will tell u exactly what is under its coil!!! U might want to consider the Deleon!!! Here is my first silver with it!!!

I own A tejon, 2 bantito umax's, and an ace 250.... The Deleon is going to be my next detector (cause the lcd on the ace spoiled me)
and the reviews are impressive.
