Tesoro Vaquero "high tone" modification.. ?

Hi folks, has anyone here attempted to modify their Vaquero (or Cibola) to give a higher audio tone? Just wondering if it could be a relatively simple thing to do. I'd love for the V to have the same tone as my Bandido II and Eldorado.

Ideas?

I emailed Tesoro to get the cost of conversion, and Allan C. wrote back. Seems very inexpensive to have them do it, and I know it'll be done right. Sending it to 'em tomorrow morning.
