Tesoro

It will do fine on the dry sand, but you may have trouble on the wet. Lowering the sensitivity will help and I've found DD coils work a bit better on wet sand.

Stick to the dry sand and turn your sensitivty down (way down) if you venture into the wet sand area. Try and stay away from the shoreline unless the waves are very calm. If your control box gets salt water in it, you're finished.

Ditto with the dry sand recomemdations. Hopefully the Tiger and Sand Shark will soon be back in production.

I've owned one for 2 months now. It is a good coin shooter.
I like everything about it except its lack of depth. (6"- 6.5" on a dime air test)
I sent it back to Tesoro and they gave it a clean bill of health and I still got the same results after getting it back.
For a $679 machine I would expect a little more depth.

Don't know how it would be on a beach.
