"test" overall button

Hello found two buttons today in a fairly old area (1900s) all thay say is "test" on them any idea?? sorry no pic available

Let me get in first
Without a doubt, they are Test Buttons!

A pic will help, but even a better description of size, weight, color, material might work for someone.

lets see, its a size of a button and weights about as much as a button ha, ha mabe its a overall buttoncurrently do not have button scale in stock

They're probably work clothes / overalls buttons, just as you suspected. "TEST" was a brand of overalls in the 1930's.
