tested the bigger of the two scoops on sat.

this scoop just about eliminates the need for a floating sifter.

found normal water finds.............but i did find my 1st ever 2 dollar canadian coin and little sterling with opal.

more testing today with chucks 6.5" model.

yesterday i did find the straight wooden handle somewhat harder to use and get on the target, but after a few sinkers and keys i got better at it. this model scoop comes with a larger foot pad and it worked pretty nice

Hi, Great Looking Scoop ! But it cost alot .. to buy one. I water hunt the old way , scoop & float. I do find some rings but this year s#ck here on Long Island New York..Coin-Finder.

I actually like the scoop on the left the best. I would also suggest that you switch over to an aluminum handle as it would be more durable that that wooden one.

With the wood handle, Does the handle part tend to float making it easer to keep track of in higher H2O? The handle looks like the same handle that is on a lot of post hole diggers.
