I usually put my brass into a seperate container for recycling. Do any of the older ones have any value?

I cleaned my yard on Mar 1st of a bunch of foil and two nickels. Thanks for asking :laughing7:

I separate the brass too, I'm not sure if there is much if any value on the older ones, they are just kind of cool.

Did you use both detectors in your yard? Old nickels or newer?

Found these at the beach this afternoon. One of the items is a penny that has seen better days, but it looks really cool, I might make it into jewelry.

Garrett AT Gold Settings: Disc 2, Iron Disc 44, Sensitivity 2.

I have used both detectors. Covered with the 2500 first and then after getting the SE PRO covered it again. Got a 45' Merc that the 2500 missed. I think the oldest nickel I found was a 64'. No wars. Thanks for responding to my post.

Cool, it has to be nice to have a machine like that. 45' huh? Good find! I'm happy to respond to this post, we are all here for the same thing! :D

Nice digs

Thank you! Do you have any pictures up?

I've been in the town of Dana Point a few times but just passing through, nice place. The harbor/boat mooring area is interesting, lots of dollars floating out there. Should still be some interesting finds in the area and there's a Mission not far away so history is on your side. Best of success with the new machine...............63bkpkr

Thank you, I hope you get some good finds as well! Dana Point has a pretty good history, and the San Juan Capistrano Mission is a really historic area, all throughout Los Rios street. Happy hunting!

I went out again, seems like "THERE WAS A FIRE FIGHT!!!!!!!" -Boondock Saints

But yeah, there were some bullets out there. I got a lot of shells, a couple that didn't fire, and one lead slug. I guess the highlight was my first wheat penny. 1956 D.

Some one had fun with an AK47..

I found another wheat penny and my first foreign coin.

I went to a new location, I worked about 10 times as hard to get half as much, but I enjoyed myself.

Wow, how long ago did Budweiser use this can design? Just below the can there is an alluvial metal, I hope it is Silver, I will test it soon. Maybe tonight..
