I agree that's a lunker for Texas

the Round Rock GPAA page Round Rock Chapter of the GPAA

Has some pics one guy has a handful of nuggets he claims to have dredged near Kerrville. On the Guadalupe. I canoed the Guadalupe a couple times when I lived in Austin.
Not really gold country. Wonder if it was a pocket spill of someones nuggets from elsewhere.

A lot of cool Pioneer Texas history in and around the Hill Country

Nice find:occasion14:

That thing is huge and congrats, what a feeling to pull something that big from the ground......
one suggestion, take a pic of it with a black or grey background.
It looks like a chewed splitshot lead to the unbelievers (not me).

Looks like high silver content...But hey, it's still gold! Good find!

Whereabout's in Texas-General area?

Had to cut trip short due to 8" rain in under 12 hours. Made it interesting to get the dredges out of the River. I highly recommend you guys in Texas check this place out. Camp host are fantastic.

The Llano is one of the few places in Texas that are known to hold gold. Most of it does have a very white/silver finish to it. Congrats!

The granite around Llano contains every mineral known to man.

It is a gorgeous piece.
