Texas Renaissance Festival (butting heads when I'm in a knights attire).

Walking through the crowd in a full knights attire and I say, "begone wench"... and another male peasant walks up to me and proceeds to thrash me verbally on my verbal behavior.

"Peasant, how dare you address a knight of the round table of Camelot in your tone. You, peasant, I challenge you do a duel. And you will learn, my dear peasant, that a knight is none to have strife with. Your destiny resides upon tomorrows morn".


...has anyone been to one of these festivals?

Edit: I have a female friend that really gets in on this type of stuff... It's crazy. They spend their whole weekend living it.
