This arrowhead came out of a cave in stone county Arkansas very hard to get to it is aprox. 4 3/4in long and 1 3/4in wide the gentleman I traded said it was a scottsbluff but I have yet to a scottsbluff like this one it single fluted

Dont know what the type is, but scottsbluff looks close from the few books i have. Its really nice though. What did you trade for it?

Definitely not a Scottsbluff. Scottsbluff are finely flaked stemmed points from the Cody culture. I think that may be a Pickwick or Ledbetter. Jmo

I agree with Ryan. Not a Scotty, but more then likely a Pickwick or Ledbetter. Still a damn nice find regardless.

hello Freezermeat, wellcome to T net. from T model in central highland rim of Tennessee! i have to agree with Th3rty7, and Srv, your point or blade is a pickwick 6000-3500 bp. time line.. the ledbetter blade is just an asymmetrical pickwick that is not listed for Ar. in any of my research papers.......... T.
