Hunted Friday afternoon for two hours at Leakin Park were MFSTC held a club hunt last Saturday. That day I found two pill bottles filled with finds from Barney Dolt; see this article on Barney https://www.baltimoresun.com/…/bs-xpm-2002-10-06-0210060289… On Friday I found another and this one was better than the two from Saturday: 2 roundballs, a bullet (CW?), Sunday School pin, coins, button and a temperance token.


I also had some 'native' finds: a 1910 wheat, a roundball and a reins or saddle strap guide (maybe early 1800s)….a short but successful hunt. Thank you Barney!

Thanks Randy. Interesting that in the last week I've recovered three of the pill bottles that Mr. Dolt buried years ago. Barney's health is not good and it's been about 6 years or so that he buried these. One wonders how many have yet to be dug.
