Just liked to say Thank you for all those nice messages from my post...Yes The only thing i regret here is i should of joined here a long time ago...But thats ok we all have to start somewhere.... And i picked an awesome group of people...
I had bought my first machine a Whites Metal Detector Years ago. I wanted 1 soooo bad that i cashed my pay check 1 day and took some money out of my account and headed to a little store to purchase it...I felt like a kid in a candy store, Purchasing my own metal Detector...Sales Clerk was telling me how to use it, Ya Ya Ya i was just anxious on using it at home, had a little back yard...So i got it home and out i go, Swung it a few time and beep beep, I was near the metal fence so i said that must be it, but i bent down and pulled out a Navy P-Coat button, That was an awesome first find, I was so excited so i swung some more but didn't find anything else... I told my friend about my recent purchase and he wanted to check it out so i brought it over to his house and showed him how to use it we found 3 quarters so he was impressed.. I think i got him hooked...
Once again Thank You!!!!! You'll be hearing alot more fome me....

welcome aboard!! Happy Hunting!

Welcome aboard. I have been hunting over 40 years and still learning. Always like to pass on what I've learned. Biggest piece of advice is... hunt WHEREVER PEOPLE GATHER... past or present. As a beginner, you might keep a log of finds... locations. As the notebook grows, so will your skill. You will look back through the notebook and you will see patterns.... try to repeat the patterns that were successful. Success breeds success! Good luck! TTC
