I agree.Maybe this way maybe we could find the mine and quit all this nonsense. Unless it has already been found, cleaned out, and not reported.
Which is what I would do, like posted in another thread. If the government would let us collect what we wanted, sell what we wanted, then just pay it as taxes or add it to our income tax,we would all know when treasures are located.
Or just have us ay a 3% finders tax. I would pay mine.

Does anyone have good information on the Miner's Needle Clue? I've read a couple bits about it and heard a few others opinions. Guess it would be the "Through the Eye of a Needle" but I'm not really sure or if this is a valid clue or not.

Here is what I have so far.
An 1850 map labeled the entire range the Superstitions. I will say from Ft mcDowell,to the now route 60,east to superior.
It seems that the western Superstitions have changed its name to the McDowell Mountains.
The U.S. Calvary built Fort McDowell on the north side of the now McDowell Mountains along the Verde River.
I think that Miner's Needle changed it's name when Weaver's Needle became more famous. It was changed to Pinnacle Peak.

Should this not have its own thread started also?

It's just that with recent threads getting mucked up, thought it might be good for some guidelines. All in good spirit, so if someone wants to start a thread on a concern about a clue Have at it All opinions are good, I just don't want the threads to go down in flames.
