Headed out with Scott today for a sports field - tot lot whatever/wherever hunt today. The ground was frozen, the totlot sand was digable to about 4 inches, and the cold north wind was so cold it could freeze the nuts off a brass monkey. :) But, hunting in the cold still beats sitting inside watching the few remaining leaves fall off the trees.

Below is a lovely religious cross I dug along with a common token. :)

Impressive! Which MD did you use for all of this?
 

What other hunters don't realize is many of your coins can be disc out with to much disc so You also need to dig a lot of trash. You did good.... :hello2:

How true. Also, I like to pinpoint off the front toe of the coil. By dragging the coil towards you, and listening carefully to the tone to see how quickly it disappears or not, gives you a good clue as to whether it is a good target (coin...ring) or a piece of canslaw, which doesn't immediately dissappear. You HAVE to wear headphones to experience this.
