Guys I can’t even lie tell you I am so sore I went trying to find a gold coin who goes to find a gold coin you either fonder or you don’t. So I had to settle for some silver and a 1911 V nickel two little round ball a Boy Scout pin and a and a queen Elizabeth Coin .
No one said it was gonna be easy

Everyone I know personally has found gold coins in one of two types of spots. Civil War sites or ocean beaches. The ocean beaches, actually one beach, gives up one on occasion. There was a shipwreck there.

I think most gold coins in the ground will be found out west just like silver dollars. Those western folks just preferred coins to paper money. I found my only gold coin a one dollar piece in a back yard here in New York state with my old BFO which had no discrimination or target ID, just dug all signals. That old machine had no problem with gold chains either, found some of those with the BFO too. Been hunting forty eight years without another gold coin.
