North Yuba Nugget Hunt : The Quest for Gold
The 2026 North Yuba Nugget Hunt was once again a great time it's a shame we only do it once a year. We got to meet lots of new Gold Prospectors this year and see old friends we haven't seen sense the last Nugget Hunt. There were people Sniping in the river and running there sluice boxes , Panning for Gold and many miners running there Metal Detectors all in search of that elusive Gold !!!!! This Year Me and Gary decided to do something a bit different. We hung out in camp eating Ice Cream with Chris Ralph for awhile then we took out a new prospector in search of Gold with his Gold Pan. Watch and see if we were able to help Doctor Jeff find some Gold !!! Kellen was busy with the family and took them swimming. There where plenty of people all over the Hills Metal Detecting I think there were just about every brand and make of detectors at the event it was cool to see different detectors being put to the test. Our LBPA brothers had a good showing as usual and it's always good to see them.Lots of Prizes this year with a Garrett 24 K Metal Detector being won and don't forget the Three grams of Gold that was giving away by Tim. and I can't forget about Christina and Izak making Jelly on Saturday. I'd like to thank everybody who came and I'm looking forward to seeing you all again next year.
