I've been back to the beach, with no success again. Beginning to think that the two gold necklaces I found on my second beach hunting excursion was just beginners luck. Have not found much of interest since then. Maybe if I invested the sifter in pic #1 I would have more luck :laughing9: Also, I think my finds, or lack there of, may have something to do with the beach itself. Very flat and wide (110yds from the seagrass to the waters edge at low tide) This area is called the Grand Strand, and there is about 40 miles of beach like this.

When the beach is crowded, notice where the majority of the beach goers congregate, memorize it or better yet take a picture....Every beach has zones where they gather, towel line, play zone, sand castle zone, waters edge, shallow water, waist deep and various swimmer zones......Those are the areas you want to conscentrate on, at least till a good storm comes along.....Waters edge is always one, low or high tide want matter there.....

Good luck and good hunting........

Well you see the tractor in one picture. That is your problem. They filter out most stuff. Go where there is traffic and no machines running and you will have better luck. It has been that way with me at the beach too. The other pictures are great.
Sandsifter ??? :help:
