THE CHISHOLM TRAIL HUNT

That looks like an official secret government type helicopter. Maybe we should get night vision goggles and hunt til dawn.

He said he almost got arrested at one place that had one of those old fashioned roll down paper towls in the mens room. It had a sign that said pull down and tear up and the attendant got awful mad when he caught stoney tearing up the machine after he had pulled it down off of the wall. Now I'm not insinuating anything about stoney , but use your own judgement. And remember Jeff, paybacks are "heck"! (Couldn't use the other word because of the censoring software). M ;D nty

M ::) nty,
LOL! Ohh, my side hurts.

Of course I tore it down. The other sign said something about "Replace when roll is empty". :P

TW, I think Mel is taking a few days to catch up on some stuff that were put off so he could take that vacation he just come back from.

No I think you got it wrong there Stoney56. Mel was IN the black heli and he is wearing one of the new top secret stealth suits the gov't doesn't want you knowing about and he is currently hunting the CTH spot dry!!! ;D :D :D ;D :)

Hey ya'll. Not to change the subject or anything, but Humberto's knockin' on my door down here. Should be right over my house about midnight tonight. Meanwhile, we're expecting several inches of rain today and if you don't know, my driveway is a half mile long and dirt. Keep us and our electricity in mind. If I don't show up for a day or two, you'll know what happened. >:( Thanks! -Noodle

Been there, done that. You crawfish people hunker down and stay safe.Let us know as soon as you can when it's over.Be careful,Noodle.Throw your body across the fiddle!

Mel is busy getting his ride ready to travel.

Humberto started knocking yesterday, it was cloudy all day, so much to trying to finish some hiking sticks. Late yesterday evening the rains started, then I see the weather report of a TD, then wake up this morn to a hurricane. :o 90% rain for today. :'(

My fellow hunters of the CTH. I would like to address an issue that concerns some participants. The idea of just trying to find prize tokens and go as fast as they can is the topic. That is not the type of hunt we wanted. It is also not fair for the inexperienced hunters. Most hunts like that have a lot more prizes than we do. So with my sordid mind I have taken great pains to see that this type of hunting is not successful. ;) ;) My suggestion is dig all signals old Burdie has played tricks on you!! :o :o :o This has been the most fun part so far for me. He He He ;D

PS. Missile defense has been set up for unauthorized flights over the site. ;D

I am glad you addressed this issue. I am new to the hobby (ok newly back into it) and a lot of times when hunting I feel like I am really SLOWWWWWWWWWW. I was sort of worried that someone would do just that. Anyway I have said it before and I will say it again, winning a prize would be great, finding something cool would be great but taking a road trip with BB and meeting all of you PRICELESS.

TN,
I love the new "Mel Mobile" ;D ;D ;D

Noodle,
Be safe...we want to see you in Caldwell.

Stoney,
Don't believe everything that borninok says.....I think he WAS flying that bh yesterday :D

Burdie,
I hope that everyone gets to find the prize tokens. It does put a damper on a hunt when one person finds most of them :(

I should get back to work.....I have been posting for the past 2 hours :o ;D

Timberwolf

I am more interested in finding old coins and relics of some sort more than anything. Anything old will do. Hopefully I will find a token or two but if I don't I will not be disappointed.
Hey, you could wrap them all in foil. LOL

Mel's travelmobile, guess he just couldn't give up the hippie days! LOL

Well I know this may sound dumb but last night while hunting I found several square nails and I thought that was ok! :) Old stuff is cool no matter what it is!

I'm back....

I'm with you ME. It will be my wife's first hunt, so I hope she finds at least one good prize token. Finding a prize when you are new, goes a long way towards encouragement :)

TW

Burdie, Stoney, Evy, and Mastereagle.....Provided nothing changes in the next 2 weeks, I'll be hitting the highway towards Kansas. Good Lord still watching over me. ;) ;)

Evy...I'm still planning on staying at Ponca City Fairfield. Should roll in there on the 4th....although knowing my lead foot, I may end up getting there early....LOL

Hey, does that Mel Mobile come with go-go girls? If so.............whoooopppeeeeee ::) ::)

Not to worry! Our little ozark radio station, that knows all there is to know 'bout 'canes, said a few minutes ago that it wasn't anything to worry about, just a few roofs off and several without power and of course,a few inches of rain.Nothing to be concerned about.Yeah! Our radio station is kinda laid back.I know what it is like tho,so you guys be careful.
