Since it seems,I'm "coin" driven, the coinshoot program,is working out perfectly for coinshooting parks, schools, sports fields, ect. I've notched out about everything I'm NOT interested in finding, and left the good targets I want in! No alum cans, pull tabs, bottel caps, nails, iron, ect. Including ZINK pennys, since they are so ate up they won't even go through the coinstar machine!:laughing7: I hunted at the poor boy high school last evening, and got too hot. I had to quit after 1 1/2 hours, but the results were great! Plus,NO trash! Ron

Yup! it's this one! The lower kHz seem to hunt out the silver (even clad) a little better. Since it's a higher conductor!

nice program

nice program
Thanks, I've found that notching the Deus doesn't cause any loss of depth, but using a high discrimination does. You might have to move the notches around a little, depending on what they come in at in your location, but it is in the ball park, and with a few little tweeks, your off to the races!

Yeah, there are deals out there on them, and used ones are a big discount! The nice thing about them is it really doesn't matter how new they are,as ALL the new programs will upgrade them,to the latest software!

Yup,they are the "Hot Ticket" right now! Mine amazes me every time I take it out hunting!

You got a good thing going there. Best coinshooting wishes your way. If you can notch out those blasted zincs that is a big plus. Last year I got about 1,000 zinc signals that I ignored, might have bypassed a few other goodies but I hate those zincs.

Yeah, the zinks around here are in bad shape, and it seems, it doesn't take long for them to get into bad shape! They are totally useless, and plug up a coinstar machine (don't ask me how I know this):laughing7:

Went out to the local city park this morning,(at dawn) and talked to the guy's that work for the park dept. They said it was ok to hunt coins but no digging! After I had hunted a while one of them noticed I had a bunch of trash in a side bag. He said where did you get that? I told him I had picked it up as I was hunting, then he smiled and said I could dig a little, but no big holes! The coinshoot program was sucki'n e'm up again. I DID get fooled by one stainless steel washer (thought it was a coin),and I also dug a pull tab (TID 40)(What was I thinki'n:dontknow:) I think the rising temps caused that senior moment.:laughing7: I hunted a small area for around 1 hr. then called it quits! As I type this it's 93 degrees at 10 am! Way too hot for this old man!:laughing7:Oh by the Way,NOT one ZINK Penny!

-sensitivity 85
-tx power 3
-frequency 12
-iron 0
-reactivity 1
-silencer 0
-audio resp 6
-audio over load 1
-5 tone ( rk's set up )
- tone scale. 0-10. 200hz
10-40. 322hz
57-70. No tone (notched)
70-97. 800hz
97-99 no tone (notched).

Just letting you DEUS fella's know - the Deus is banned from my area of the Midwest in the spring thru fall seasons and in Texas during the winter. Something to do with a import license or such. Thank God for this as there would be only zinc pennies left in the ground in a few years.:tongue3:
