Some companies outsource everything today. There are even places where Wal Mart hires contract labor.
Working as an independent contractor can be rewarding if you are in a high demand skill set. If not, earnings can even go down due to "self employment taxes" and other costs that used to be born by employers. You don't have to provide health coverage. You don't have to provide retirement.
Great for business, not so great for some employees.
On the flip side, some who won't work won't get paid. Could it hearken back to when folks worked hard to earn a living?
What do you think? (No "Polyticks" please)
