I was able to get out this last weekend for a little so I decided to go sample some areas I have been researching.
It was windy and cold and no one was out there - perfect.
So I'm sitting on a ridge, looking down into the canyon of interest and surveying the land - having a smoke with the spirits and giving thanks.
And then the article I read a couple months ago by Mr. Ralph in the journal, popped into my head.....The Essence of Prospecting.
It really hit home for me and reminded me again as to why I like this hobby so much.
I had a great time just bush whacking and seeing landscape I would have never seen before.
Also picked up some trash from the Hunters and day trippers from the valley.
And from the samples I've panned out so far, removed a lot lead bird shot too....your welcome Eco Nazis'
Thought I'd share the moment.
And if you get the Prospecting/mining journal - a good read.
Cheers and Merry Christmas to everyone.
