the fallen cowboy's spur

found this nice brass spur while detecting along an old mining road in the mountains. even found the plated strap buckle in the hole with it. within 10 feet of the area I found the spur, was a horseshoe, a shot pistol bullet and a bridle buckle. over the edge of the wagon road is an extremely steep slope these items were recovered about 8 feet below the road on the slope, seems to me his horse went over the side with him on it, maybe the pistol bullet was for the {well you know}. Thanks for looking..
