One of the nicer ones I've seen on here. I found a Barber Quarter a couple of months ago and still no SLQ.

It's a sharp shooter medal from the Army! That's a sweet find PP!

AND... a dated SLQ. You did very well today sir, congrats.

Nice, especially the SLQ! The military medal is a "Marksman" rifle badge. Sharpshooter has a double circle (like a target) in the center, then Expert has a wreath around it.

And for the record, I always qualified as Expert during my time in the Army. But I knew what badges the other guys were wearing. :laughing7:

Pirate, that SLQ looks great.... way to go !! the Marksman badge is awesome too! Congrats and HH

SLQ is a beauty congrats on it and the other finds

That is one sweet SLQ PP. Gotta love pulling one with a date. I also like the Marksman badge. Just for the record I did not always score as an expert marksman every year, but never lower than a sharpshooter.

Wow the coin looks in great shape I like how silver comes out of the ground like it was dropped a few days ago all my clad is blackish Great finds

Yeah well don't feel bad, Loco. My primary weapon was the grenade, so Expert was a piece of cake!

Well it was pretty tarnished when I pulled it from the bone dry soil but with a little baking soda and water mix she looks pretty good, thanks for looking bud...

Are you kidding me?? That SLQ is incredible- Congrats Tony!!

Nice finds. SLQ's usually come up so worn and without dates.
