hit a new section with FMERG, the usual horrendous bottle caps, beaver tails, plus a bit o' clad----BUT------the IH was down a whole 4 inches, less than 2 feet away>>>>>>>the button at 3 inches. this land keeps on givin'. Frank scored a pewter flat button with shank & a Vietnam era Military brass button. back for more good ol' relics

IH's hit at 64-66 range, got the button and 3 IH's in a 20' X 20' patch, all about 4 to 6" down, virgin farm dirt with no fill

thanks Rogue, heavy iron content of soil left a dark crust, did a few minutes of electrolysis and a few seconds buff with worn #800 grit until markings were readable. only down 4" in virgin farm dirt that was pasture, so no fertilizer other than animal POOP. listed it for auction at $45, hope someone can appreciate the rare find.
