That's the best word i would describe what happens when our imagination runs wild on us. I will take you back 30 years ago, the wife and i moved into our new home. The back yard had a little grass, dirt and a garden nothing special but lots of rocks. I have been interested in native american culture for a long time. So one day i picked up a strange rock and thought to my self Indian artifact, it was so smooth and fit perfect in my right hand well that's all she wrote i was obsessed for the next year and a 1/2, i dug and gathered hundred's of rocks, i knew for sure i had stumbled on to something big. I would wash and clean them and separate the ones that left handed and right handed ppl used.My wife thought i was crazy, i could not wait to get home from work so i could go dig up more artifacts i was obsessed and it had a good hold of me. After calling and talking to several ppl i was able to show my rocks to a expert, that day was a very big let down for me and very hard to swallow but thank God i did it, it was getting out of control. The ppl on this form that think they have found all these special animal, faces and whatever else man made altered stones, rocks need to step back and listen and get informed from ppl that know what they are talking about. Here are a couple pics of my natural erosion Geofact's. I am going to take some more pic's of the hammer stones i thought were hammer stones a 1/4 or the rocks in the photos were ones i dug up the rest were from a big wash close by my home.

I second that

Is this a geofact or artifact? Look closely

See anything in that last photo?

That's a great looking yard. The rock walls are really nice. There was purpose to your rock gathering.

You, Whiplash, appear to be stone deaf. Maybe you can build a wall with your "artifacts."

It appears you missed the X outline on the unfinished side....

Do you know what type of mineral this rock is?

Thank you Kray for the complement, and yes there was a purpose lol.

Hi Whiplash, from what i see its just a stone that is fractured in many places.

The X grooves cross over the top on the front and back side. It’s worn smooth on those areas
