It was too nice here in central Pa to hang around the house and work, so I got out for about 5 hours. The ratio of keepers to clad was pretty good today. Usually a ton of clad and a keeper or two. The junk ratio was higher than normal but all in all a nice day. I recovered 2 Mercury dimes, 1926s and 1945, 1938 Jefferson nickel, a gold filled ring, 7 Wheats, 1905 Indian, an old crushed lip stick tube cover, 4 shotgun shell head stamps, and a small pile of clad. Thanks for looking. Happy hunting and watch out for ticks!

I thought that too, Tom but this is really thin and doesn't appear to be threaded. I have several of the old valve stem covers.
