Wow! Very sad to here this. He was one of the reasons I started playing guitar years ago. :(

Van the man rest in peace

Truly dispirited with his passing, had the pleasure of seeing him in his prime a few times [once warming up for Black Sabbath before they hit it big] ... But the fact is, the guy was always in his prime, just an incredible talent.

I went to so many VH concerts that sucks.

WOW ! I wasn't aware of his Heath issues .

I Loved there 1978 album, Used to Blast it in my car every time I played it

I won one of these scholarships... . halen.webp All the legends were great but I was about the Van Halen technique. Humble...patient.. And I was a smart ass egotistic kid!
I attended Monsters of Rock 1988. Van Halen, The Scorpions, Metallica, Dokken, and Kingdom Come. AWESOME!! 5150 tour with Sammy Hagar was also legendary.
R.I.P.

Oh YEH!!!!!!!!!!

Can't believe hes only #8 on rolling stone all time greatest guitarists, he should be 2 or 3 at the very least.
