The Great Vegas Desert

Hi.. Just moved into the Las Vegas area, and have been doing a bit of work on maps from 1882 and 1900's in this area..Finding a few old mines and town sites.. However, most of the old buildings have been washed away or destroyed over the years.. The only things I have to work with are the dry river beds from around those sites..or landmarks, like a foundation or whatever.. So before I hop back on the ATVs and load them up with the detectors and whatever.. I was wondering if anyone can give me some pointers in were to look in the great open desert...I will post any findings on this site...Thanks 8)

I lived in Vegas for almost two years moved from there in 03', you can try Old Nevada,& Red Rock area, I used to go up to Mt. Charleston. I know of one other guy who lives out there but he's not on this forum but posts on
The Treasure depot forum you can probably get better answers on that forum for Vegas from him, I think he calls himself Bob in Vegas. HH Bob.B
