Not to whine, but the deer flies came out today. If you aren’t familiar, their bite feels like a crazy person with a set of vice grips. I found my usual ferrous , farm equipment parts, a spiral shank nail and the small iron box (tin). The lid lifts off (may have hinges originally) and the center tray is divided into 3 sections. The sections are semi-circular in shape. I’d guess they once held, sin-sin lozenges, or something similar. Seems too large for aspirin. Thanks

I’ve fought those deer flies for yrs. Nasty blood suckers! I’ve used these sticky patches and they work pretty well. Doesn’t help when they go for arms or hands though. I got them online 5 or 6 yrs ago but don’t remember where. Probably still available.
