I was hoping that since the guy told her that he picked out all of the pre '65 silver halves that he didn't know about 40%ers...well, lucky for me, I was right!

I couldn't believe it but it was one of my top 10 scores to date - [45] 40%ers!!!

Highlights include one roll with [10], one with [9], one with [8], two rolls with [4] and five rolls with [2] in them!

I cannot believe someone would pick out all of the "silver" but leave that many 40%ers in $220 worth of halves but I guess it is true many are clueless about 40%ers and that that is great for all of us!

With my huge [20] keeper box earlier today and some other silver halves and silver dimes from other boxes/rolls it is turning out to be one heck of a week!

Thanks everyone, yes, I am thrilled to have such a huge find. I guess it goes to show that no matter how much a teller tries to dissuade you from buying coins you should always buy them all because you never know!

Keep in mind, there was a time when you couldn't get much more than fv for 40% halves (a long time)...some of the old timers still carry that mentality around today.
