Went out to the Iron pit today with brother KirkTN this place requires a small coil and slow walking. We are pretty much pulling out all the large ferrous and any non-ferrous signals we can get. Best thing is the suprise is one of the very few new things we have found at this sight. Every hole you dig is littered with nails rusty bits and an enormous amount of old glass shards. This is the place where we have found 3 CW buttons and one carbine sling buckle. I just about had a fit today when I rolled over a plug and seen silver I yelled at Kirk to bring the camera. I really thought I had an old large silver coin. It was kinda bitter sweet to see the 1969 Kennedy 40%er when I brushed the dirt away. Well it made for good pics anyways. I was pretty stoked about the hunt today and resting for tommorrow's hunt if the rain will hold off.
