Nokta FoRs Gold, a Gold Cube, 2 Keene Sluices and Lord only knows how many pans....not to mention a load of other gear my wife still doesn't know about!
Primary Interest:
Prospecting
Few shots from this week. Not all is good, however, as my old friend, Lucky, seems to have gone across that rainbow bridge. I do believe she had two little ones this year, and another mom coon is now fostering them. One mom who had three little ones now has five, and the two new ones have darker backs..not hers, but she's raising them all the same.

They're cute little critters, but they sure are vicious to chickens.

Nice family..... I just went out and filled up 5 hummingbird feeders AGAIN...! The key word there was AGAIN...! I think were feeding 3204 hummers give or take 2.

Only got one hummingbird feeder, but it gets emptied several times a week. We have a species that is here year around, the Anna's hummingbird, and we go so far as to keep the feeder warm all winter so they can still feed even in freezing weather.

As for the 'coons, come late fall (Nov'ish) most of these will venture off to new home areas, but typically a couple will stay in this area and return for goodies now and then.

Not my pic..

Sounds like you take good care of your single hummer. Around here is almost dangerous to go get a empty feeder. Sounds like a HUGE bee hive all day around them. I'm surprised I haven't got a little pecker in my ear yet....! If they ever all quit fighting and chasing each other I'd have to go back to work to afford the sugar. It's nothing to go through 2 bags per week. What's amazing is that in the morning if a feeder or 2 are empty a few will fly up to the glass slider door and just hover and look at me. YEA, yea... yea.... I'll be right there.
