So lets get a the story going I'll start and you add the next part!!

I was out metal detecting the other day..

And I dug a strange target in the clay...

It had a strange smell...

I turned to my friend and said....

This thing looks like it's part of a bed...

He replied “That’s what she said...”

But my machine told me it was lead...

unfortunately I poked it with my knife and it bled so it couldn't be lead

Then she said "put on your glasses Fred"

you poked my painted Toenail instead

that only happened because I removed my steel capped boots as they were setting the detector off... after realising the target was junk I decide to keep swinging and headed off to a grassy knoll...

Detecting on the knoll had become rather droll so I figured I had to go

But, on the way to the truck, still keeping the coil to the ground...

The signals were so many my heart began to pound.

I became enthralled with the sounds , but I had to run because the farmer had a gun

TO bad he had a gun the farmer daughter and I had some fun

On the run I jumped a fence -

fell on my buns and got poison ivy

When I went to get back up, I couldn't believe my eyes!

There in the weeds laid a glass eye
