As you all know I have been called a LUNATIC because of my involvement in the Civil War in Sierra Leone.
GO and SEE the movie BLOOD DIAMONDS. What you see is nothing like it really was. I hope you have a strong stomach. It WILL change what you think about DIAMONDS.
I was there when it all started.
My response was deleted by those in power which I am glad that it was.
I got carried away (a little) but it really P.O.ed me to no end.
I am trying to write a book about my experience but I do not expect to finish it. It took me several years of waking up in a cold sweat before I could get a night sleep.

No I was just a person working for Southewest Diamond Corp.
I was at the MOA River near the Wendura Rapids collecting some diamonds when my group was ambushed. If you look at a map of Sierra Leone got to the extreame southwest corner neat the village of SALIMA. Now go 12 miles upriver. This is the rapids. I remember the day very clearly-Jan 27, 1991. Jan 27 is my birthday. This was the first day of the war. Rebels came across the river from Liberia and started shooting. As you can see I made it.
After this I started providing information to the Sierra Leone and the Guinea Governments.
I had a $10,000 reward posted on me Dead or Aliv by the RUF.
There is a place that I told the SL Government was the largest diamond deposit in the world. I even give the location and yet NO ONE has ever gone there. It is near SHERBRO ISLAND.
