Sorry the pictures aren't great but here is the totals from the shore spot me and a friend found that had button and coin eyeball finds plus many more with the detectors. In the end we got 23 large coppers,22 flat buttons and 2 silver coins.
Most of the coppers are George ii and George iii half penny's but there was a few Nova Scotia thistle tokens and conder tokens. Also a few British coins that looked just like half penny's but a lot thicker. One silver is a half reale that took a beating in the shore but I'll gladly take it. Only thing to do now is dig those iffy signals and check the beach at low tide. Most of the coins turned out in great shape with dates. Thanks for looking!

It was fun. We got that in like three hours. The big green 1799 half pence was a eyeball find. I wish I would have snapped a picture before picking it up but the race was on to collect what I could before my friend did first! HahaImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1458256250.540513.webp

Old ship wreck out there maybe :occasion14:

Amazing site and awesome finds. I recon you'll be back there after the next storm.

That's a pretty sweet spot!
I'm sure you'll have plenty more from that site before its all done!

Awesome
that bottle may be a good one too - think it might be rare one

Awesome second thread about this spot.... Gives me something to dream about during work... Ha ha
Thumbs up all day...

Wow man that's a heck of a spot you found. Excited to see what else pops out

Wish I had more time to take better closer photos of the better coins before and after I got home. I think there is more to find there yet. I can see some detail on the half reale but it's so dark grey. Would you bother a clean or is it to far gone? Like a quick lemon juice bath or something?

Wow, incredible beach! I'd be digging even the faintest of signals up there.

Congrats Kiddo. Hope you can update your thread with better pics. IP has already given you reason to do so lol. Hope your finds will continue there.

We found a majority of the coins around two spots that looked perfect for row boats coming in to land on. I think it was a heavily used landing spot for civilians, troops, etc. There is also pottery, glass, clay pipe pieces and brick coming out of the banks and littering the shore everywhere off the field.

I absolutely would give that s lemon juice bath and see if it lightens up a bit. What a spot man

There's also some photography tricks I can share with you....after my 8 hour OSHA class 8-(

Just awesome. What a spot to hunt. Congrats on an impressive set of finds.

So when you're trying to pull as much detail as possible in a picture as possible use a dark room And I prefer a red background. Place the item on the red cloth and use an led light to shine across the items face. I use my iPhone's led light. Adjust the angle until you can see the most detail. I use an iPad primarily to take the pics but I have a nice Nikon as well. For the coppers leave them dry and run some nose grease across the face to be photographed. It will really highlights any high points and give contrast in the picture. This is one in the dark room with light. It looks nothing like this in the regular light

Thanks. I use to have a spot I loved for pictures under a lamp in our living room. All changed around now. My wife is a birth and newborn photographer and has some very nice nikons as well. My only problem is when I get home it's usually a war zone with the kids and I rush everything so it's my iPhone and instant post. She wants to sometime take some of my best stuff and do some proper pictures of them! [emoji106]

That's a DREAM spot there KIDDO!!!!!!! CONGRATZ...
