The past mantle relics #9, Three fourths groove axe

This 5 1/8 x 3 1/8 axe is from central Indiana.

The axe has some old bit damage that has been somewhat smoothed over. Peck marks are seen over much of the axe surface, including in the groove. The bit is polished. The poll is rough and shows evidence of either use damage or rough surface of the original stone selected to make the axe.

No same just a different level cause most are rare finds at least that’s how I feel
