This should be Day 2 & a tiny bit, as Cru'dad did a short 1 hour hunt last week fluking out a tiny hammered halfpenny of Charles I.
Today we both gridded for 5 hours in 2 different areas of the field. The first area I got the cut qrter hammered & in the after Lunch option Cru'dad got a stunning Lizzy Sixpence.
I was pleased at how dry the surface was after all the gales & rain this weekend, but the loose sandy soil soaked it in & the wind dried it!

Not yet, we plan to go tomorrow but the weather isn't looking promising!

It is crazy, think what it will be like after I retire.
