PLEASE, don't be as stupid as I was. Hunting the other day was a bear. I did find the fatty but paid the price for my stupidity. Jellyfish were everywhere and I would get stung occasionally but toughed it out...big mistake.

Above are some pics of the back of my leg. Both legs are the same along with other places.

I'm done hunting in a bathing suit. I use a Farmer John, full 5 mil wetsuit, waders and a bathing suit.

I have to take PI Joes advice and get a full 2 mil wetsuit for the Summer. Warmer than I like but I have to start hunting smart.

sorry to see that, fsa; hope you are treating it properly; I think that some cortisone cream application would help clear it up.

Do like they do in Australia. Put on stockings. No wetsuit needed. 2km wetsuit 2 hours you would have heat stroke

lycra bike shorts or ones that are a little longer work just fine for me with the jelly fish
and I wear a sweatshirt)long sleeve shirt will work fine)
and thin gloves - have not been stung in years

When First attacked wash with saltwater get all the remaining stingers out of your skin even shaving cream with razor or scrape with a credit card. then vinager or bakingsoda/saltwater paste
Do Not urinate or flush with fresh water!
will only cause more pain if any stingers are still in the skin!
24 hr of pain is no fun! Been there... hope you feel better soon!

I ordered a 2mm full wetsuit yesterday to go with the Skin Suit. The days of hunting in my bathing suit are over even though I like the comfort in the Summer months.

This turned out to be a combination of swimmers itch and jellyfish stings and worse than I thought. Although I didn't need doctors care, I don't want to go though this again.

You did right by ordering a Lycra suit. I use'em when on cruises also. There's always something in the water that attacks ya!

My Lycra suit came in today and definitely looks like it's the way to go . My 2mm wetsuit should be here in a couple days so I will have all the bases covered....I hope.

Waders, Shortie ( I've been calling it a Farmer John but was incorrect ) Lycra Skin Suit, 2mm wetsuit coming, and a 5mm wetsuit. Ready for all the seasons.
