Does anyone know the date of this item or what it held, think this guy was an early Pharmacist bottle was found next to this old Colgate-Palmolive Lead toothpaste tube? The Property Of William R Warner & Co Pty Ltd 2.webpThe Property Of William R Warner & Co.webpFullSizeR.webp

There may be a date code on the bottom of bottle, looks like a 1930-1940 bottle. William Warner was in business for years and some of his bottles are very collectable, and yes some sort of cure was in it---------warner6 warn.webp----not to be confused with H.H.Warner

Here's a clue to the oldest possible date for the toothpaste tube:
"Colgate was the first toothpaste in a collapsible tube, introduced in 1896, when it had previously been sold in glass jars since 1873."

Your tube toothpaste says Australia and colgate palmolive-----Colgate opened in Australia in early 1920s, merged with Palmolive-Peet in 1928--This would be the oldest the tube could be---hope this helps---tom
