Outstanding book! One of the best I have read. It chronicles the Son Tay prison camp POW rescue mission led by Colonel Arthur "Bull" Simons. Incredible planning and execution. I highly recommend it.

Excellent book. I was fortunate enough to work at one time with 2 of the men on the raid. They were true American heros.One of them, Paul Poole passed away about 6 months ago. RIP old friend.

If you ever get the chance visit the special warfare center museum at FT.Bragg . They have a fine
display of this op there .
Superb planning and execution on their part . Traitors on our own side sold them out .
Bull did better working for Ross Perot .
