These are the rest of the finds from today's hunt, it was a good day


All the good stuff


A small piece of lead with a shield on it

A religious medal


The other side. It says "Mission" on the bottom.


What may be a strap end, I'll find out tomorrow and post an accurate id

Very interesting finds Ian!

The Royal Artillery button is in great shape!

I like the lead shield relic and I think the religious medal would clean up nicely in a hot peroxide bath!

Hi Mike, me too. It's one of the best, for it's age, that I have found so far. All I did was rinse it and give it a coat of micro-crystalline wax. The best find of the day was the stirrup mount tho'. I am very happy with that .
