Hello All,
Not much to report on my beach trip. Had the good fortune to dig 13 rings, but all of them were titanium or junk. Got one hoop earring that was silver. I did dig a lot of coins though, and I feel confident in my "reads" on the beach in terms of where to hunt and which beaches to choose. Gold just wasn't in the cards. (Although the big, heavy bracelet in the bottom of the first photo gave me a heart attack when I pulled it out of the wet sand a foot and a half down!--it's stainless steel though
)
I was due for a dry run though, as the last three summer vacations I've come back with at least one gold ring each time. At any rate, I'm back in Louisiana now and the first thing I did was go digging here! I'm working on the post now, but it's a whole handful of Seated Silver! Stay tuned!
