After last Friday at a local park all my $ finds were clads about7$, feeling kinda ill that I found no silver coins , I drove home then went to an antiques s tore close by and paid 6$ for 2 silver Mercury Dimes a 1936 & a 1945 in vf cond. they may have been worth a little less ,but the kind gentleman selling them had to make something & I was happy with my purchase and still had a dollar left over from ealier. I paid in paper money of course & no sales tax on coins . I would rather have dug them ,but it was a silver day after all .....Davers:icon_thumright:

WTG davers! 2 silvers & still a 1$ profit......At least you didnt blow your clad on coffee money like I do!

Ive used my clad to buy a new digger. On wednesday, at an auction, I bought an 1834 Half dollar and a 1857 Half dime with the change I throw in my fishbowl everyday.
Like the fish bowl idea, I use an old mason jar myself. When I get enough I go to the store and stock up on batteries.

Clad! I love it, a penny saved is a penny earned. If I have $.99 at home and I find a penny, I now have a dollar. Clad adds up, in time, enough to buy a new detector...............no money is junk if it has purchase power.
Just my thought on clad.
