The Sudbrink Calls​

In 1993, something impossible was captured on tape. An inhuman voice, growing weaker with each call, contacted an Air Force Captain with knowledge no stranger could possess. The Sudbrink Calls remain the only case with actual recorded evidence of potential alien contact.

What nonsense. It’s a hoax and has been debunked, although it’s not clear who the hoaxer was (if not Sudbrink himself). The ‘alien’ voice is a slowed-down recording, somewhat muffled by being played back through the telephone receiver. When the (now digitised) recording is played back at double speed, it miraculously becomes normal speech with a light New Jersey Accent that sounds remarkably similar to Sudbrink’s own voice.

Kevin in ‘Home Alone 2’ (played by Macaulay Culkin) uses exactly the same trick with a similar effect on his voice using his ‘Talkboy’ recorder to make a 10-year old sound grown up enough to book a hotel room by telephone:



Perhaps not coincidentally, the film was released in November 1992, only a few months before the Sudbrink calls.

Note also that the voice simply repeats the same phrases multiple times: “Hello”; “Is Gary Sud-Sudbrink there?"; “Sudbrink there?”; “So how long are you going to be back from Texas?”; and “You're being impersonated by the other voice" but absolutely nothing else.

There’s no interaction whatsoever, with the phrases being repeated irrespective of what Sudbrink says in response, talking over him (and vice-versa) without any semblance of a two-way conversation.

Though the One thing that does make me doubt , is ORION ?
the Voice Mentioned Orion if I'm not Mistaken. as far as I'm aware the Name Comes from someone here on Earth.
Just like Someone from Pluto Would not say "I'm From Pluto"


then again the Repeat Messages Can be sort of Explained away,
like someone who doesn't speak the laguage would just know key words to repeat and maybe what we call the constellation Orion ,
if they or someone was here before

The Talkboy was released in 1992 (in a promotional tie-in with the Home Alone movie released in November that year) and several months before the hoax alien calls in 1993.
