My purchase of a new-to-me 6" Coiltek coil for my Etrac coincides nicely with the coldest temperatures of the season and the first school-canceling snowfall (I'm a teacher, meaning I'm sitting at home now and still can't get out to detect). It sure finds the studs in my walls nicely though.

Oh, so this is YOUR fault!

Just wait - I sent mt Fisher F75 in for the upgrade to the latest software so in about two weeks expect blankets of ice and polar bears until about June.

You're braver than I am - I need to send my propointer in to get repaired (it slowly dies a little more each month) but I can't bring myself to do it because I know as soon as I do it's going to be 60 degrees and sunny until I get it back!

lol, I love the picture! Like a dog sadly begging at the window to go outside and play. :)

It might get a chance to go out and play on Sunday.....I don't really have many good woodsy spots down here though so the ground will be a little hard (although I don't feel like driving 5hrs round trip to get to a good woodsy spot either)

It looks like your machine is like a dog with his muzzle pressed up against the window saying" I wanna go play!!!"

Hey it still works over snow, just take your pick axe and flame thrower!
