A traveler walks past a house and sees a large crowd gathered in the yard.
"Hello," he says. "having a family reunion"?
"No," came the reply. "A mule kicked my mother in law to death."
"Oh, I'm sorry," said the traveler. "She must have had a lot of friends."
"No, they're all here to buy the mule."
