The Upson C. & M. Co. Good for 2c in Merchandise. Bronze, 19mm. From a google search, this appears to be coal related, but I can't find it in the coal token book. Does anyone know?

Yes, The Coal Trade Journal of June 2,1915 does mention the name of this company--but nothing further.

A report of the State of Ohio lists the company in 1896 as being established in Manafield, not Mansfield, Ohio.

Great find. The brass two cent and an aluminum penny are listed in the new 4th edition of the Edkins Coal Company Tokens catalog as R-10.

Was it ever determined for sure where this is from? I only collect Indiana, so will probably list it on ebay once I have an exact attribution. I've been listing many mavericks on tokencatalog.com.
