The Wife Kicks my Butt with her 1st Gold ring, I find a little silver ring

We went back to the old school for an evening hunt yesterday. I have pulled 4 gold rings from here including a returned gold class ring. I have also found 6 or 7 silver rings here as well. The wife has found her 10k necklace here as well. There were several people there using the various school yard things. We hadn't been there but maybe 15 minutes when I realized that she was hurrying over to me with this very determined look. My 1st thought was that she had to go find a bathroom like right now but then I realized that she had something in her clinched fist. She opened her hand as she asked "Is it real?" One look and I answered "yep!" She did an awesome job of keeping her excitement in check. 10k P THL, a ring made by Samuel Aaron with diamond chips. I managed a thin silver ring 925 (that I managed to break while prying it open) and a couple bling rings plus a bling necklace with a Buffalo on it. I dug a pile of erasers and pull tabs with foil and can slaw thrown in for good measure. This was our 1st out right gold with the Deus and she said it hit hard and solid. All she has is the LF coil and the puck with the headset and she totally loves it. She is already wanting to get it sized for her to wear and I am thinking no problem. Now she always gets out of the truck saying "Let the Butt Kicking Begin" and this time she did! But I am totally okay with it. DL

There is nothing like hearing the glee excitement of a woman that has found something good. the smiles say it all and then the replays are fun to relive with her. it is always amazing how a person's detecting picks up after a great find of any sort. It is also very nice to have her asking me if we can go detecting. if she is home and I decide to go, she is right there at the truck or hurrying to get her stuff together. I used to be totally envious of couples that hunted or fished together or anything else for that matter and now I am one of those, very cool feeling. She didn't fish or hunt before she met me. Now, she can shoot a deer, field dress it and drag it out (unless very big on the dragging.) she can crappie fish and bass fish too. we both work in the garden and on repairs. Yeah, I am a very blessed man.

Great saves, Looter(s)!....The wife and I are almost opposites in regards to what we do recreationally, she loves the casino, gardening, scrapbooking, cooking and socializing on FB...While she has never expressed ANY interest in detecting, and mind you-she don't mind getting her hands dirty, I recently asked her if she'd go detecting with me since I have a backup machine now. She said SURE! I was actually pretty excited (might have been that last ring I dragged home)...lol. Just gotta make sure I get her on some dirt without a ton of trash so she doesn't get discouraged early, even tho she knows I dig huge amounts of trash. Great stuff, Jerry....keep'em coming! Ddf.
