According to one account for the source of the gold aboard the riverboat Far West that was buried near the Custer battlefield. There are claims it was gold bullion loaded at Williston N.D. prior to the battle 1876. Am I correct in questioning this since Williston was founded in 1887! I thought this was pretty void of white people at that time.
