The worst part of silver hitting $49.00

I hear ya... Thank goodness silver did not hit the big $50, the news would have ruined it for us all. Just got to get the silver while you can, there will always be stray silver out there, just getting harder and harder to find. Halves are dry in my area, have to order them.

I agree.

There was a guy selling silver coins at a local flea market. I walk in one day, and he was telling everyone how to coin roll hunt halves, and he paid $12.50 for every 90% brought to him.

He then told them how to search dimes and quarters. Totally unbelievable. Why would anyone do such a thing?

While I am fairly new to CRHing, I've seen a strong increase in the number of people who now know about silver.

Seems everyone in this area knows. Finds are getting few and far between, just one or two here and there.

Interesting thing I saw at an estate sale, granddads coin collection, no silver.

Guy was putting $5 in clad halfs in a baggie and selling them for $7.50.

Surprising thing was that people were buying them, because they don't see them much.

You should've told him that what he is doing is wrong and bad for the hobby and that if everyone did it.. it would be over real quick.

Also silver is back down to around $36 not $50.. thank god
